It has been a great journey with many like-minded people forming together an association that aims to help the local blogsphere, raise the profile of bloggers and will promote, protect as well as educate its members. See TODAYOnline for the exclusive interview here.
This discussion started months back when ECL contacted me to meet up. After a few sessions, we start to visualize what the association is about.
While the Association cannot claim to be the shelter for everything for all bloggers, but I believe overtime with more members and more ideas and supports, the foundation will be stronger and overall will benefit the blogsphere greatly. :)
The reason why I joined? Very simple, new media is evolving where traditional media is struggling as the readers and news-makers themselves are changing the habit of getting and giving information all thanks to the ever -changing internet world.
An asscociation of such can and will help make the blogging space a better place for everyone.
